I’m a 1st year missionary from Mesa, AZ.
What brought you to Christ in the City?
During my time in college I found myself gravitating towards mission opportunities ever since my freshman year. I found that the Lord was opening up my heart more and more toward the idea of becoming a full-time missionary. I went on a mission trip to Denver in the Summer of 2021 working with Catholic Charities. That was my first experience serving the homeless. I had the chance to meet and work with the missionaries in Denver serving at a Lunch in the Park and from there my desire to serve the Lord as a full-time missionary became clear. After that mission trip, the Lord eventually led me back to Christ in the City after I graduated from college.
What are you looking forward to?
I am looking forward to growing in relationship with Christ and learning how to further love others as He does. I am also very excited to live in community with the other missionaries and experience the many joys and sufferings that will come along the way.
A bit about me
I graduated from Northern Arizona University with a degree in Applied Computer Science and a minor in Business this past December. I spent most of my life living in California and moved to Arizona in 2016. Since moving I happily call Arizona my home. I enjoy spending my time doing outdoor activities such as hiking and camping when I get the chance to. I also enjoy photography and learning about different types of technology.
