Hi, I'm Henry

I’m a 2nd year missionary from Newton, MA.

What brought you to Christ in the City?

A desire/call to love the poor. Through attending Lunch in the Park and going on street walks at my Alma mater, CU Boulder, I’ve discovered the love the poor are able to give and that they truly hold the face of Christ. In Les Miserables, Jean Valjean says “To love another person is to see the face of God” and that’s exactly what I want to do.

What are you looking forward to?

I’m looking forward to growing closer to our Lord and others in community. I’m also looking forward to being stretched and having to rely solely on God.

A bit about me

I grew up outside Boston, Massachusetts but have been in Colorado for the last 5 years. I’m a convert to the faith and found the Lord at CU Boulder thanks to the amazing community up there. After serving at Camp Wojtyla, I love the outdoors and love to go hiking, camping, and anything outside. I’m slowly getting into reading and love to read Josef Pieper and JP2.
