My name’s Brian and I’m a 1st-year Christ in the City missionary from Boulder, CO.

What brought me to Christ in the City

After graduating from CU in 2019 and working for a year, many life changes caused me to consider God’s desire for my life in a deeper way, and this lead me here to Christ in the City. I strongly believe that in this next year I am being called to become more contemplative in my faith, and to live in service for others, especially those who are less fortunate and less privileged than myself.

How Christ in the City has helped me grow

I have experienced so much healing being at Christ in the City, and so much growth in my own understanding of the faith and in my spiritual life. I came to Christ in the City with heartache, disappointment, and crisis in my relationships. Through the love of my community, the care and direction of the formators, and most importantly through my increasing in intimacy with God, my life is now set on a path of following His will for me, and I am excited to see what’s next!

A bit about me

I love composing music, playing saxophone, backpacking, swimming in glacial lakes, and reading. I believe travel is the greatest way to build perspective. I hope to become a channel of God’s grace and love for others through my music and my relationships with others.
