What brought you to Christ in the City?
During the summer of 2023, I was looking into mission work. Specifically, I wanted to go somewhere that I could better understand how to love others well. Eventually, I found a week-long mission trip to Christ in the City on FOCUS’ website. While in Denver that summer I fell in love with the ministry, the community, and the lifestyle. I felt called back to Christ in the City and the next summer, went to a summer of service in Dayton. Through both of these experiences, I learned more not only about loving others, but receiving others as a gift and letting myself be loved.
What are you looking forward to?
The Lord always holds surprises when you least expect them. I look forward to further growing in a more personal relationship with Him, both through others and through the surprises that He has planned.
A little about me…
Over the last few years I have been a student at Nicholls State University, finally graduating a with a Bachelors in Biology in May of 2025 (God willing). During my time in college, I have been working part time as an EMT for a local ambulance company. I love spending time, playing games, and watching movies with my friends and family. I like folding origami cranes and hiding them. I have hid at least 1 in 13 different ambulance stations, plus a fire truck.
