What brought you to Christ in the City?
I went on a spring break mission trip with my school at Christ in the City my freshman year. It is here that I fell in love with the mission of Christ in the City and everything that it stands for. I remember being so awestruck by it that I was so excited to go serve the homeless back home once I got back to Pittsburgh. I think I knew then that I was gonna become a missionary for CIC one day so I came back for mission trips during my sophomore and junior year at both CIC locations in Denver and Philly. Once senior year came, it was an easy decision for me to follow God’s call for me to become a CIC missionary
What are you looking forward to?
I look forward to the community, whether that is with my fellow missionaries or the friends we meet on the streets. My time at the University of Pittsburgh and especially its Newman Center has taught me that loving people is such a joy and I look forward to living that everyday at Christ in the City.
