What brought you to Christ in the City?
I was introduced to Christ in the City through a friend who was a missionary last year. When I went to visit her, I was amazed and inspired by the faith and joy of the missionaries that I met. It was beautiful to see the way they relied on Christ, and how they both brought Him to and found Him in their friends on the streets. CITC gave me an opportunity to boldly serve the Lord by loving the people closest to his heart, and I had to take it!
What are you looking forward to?
I am looking forward to living in a community of passionate young people who are excited about doing the work of Christ, and who can teach me how to love the poor. I’m excited to see what sorts of people I will meet and what I can learn from them, and I hope that I can grow in faith and reliance on God during my time at CITC.
A little bit about me…
I grew up in Ohio with my parents and my older sister! I went to college at Ohio State University, where I studied Computer Science and was a leader in the marching band. Late into college, I had a spiritual revival and converted to Catholicism, officially getting confirmed and joining the church at the Easter Vigil in 2025. I enjoy cooking, being outside, making music, playing with my cat, and having good times with good friends!
