What brought you to Christ in the City?
As a young girl, I heard the story of Mother Teresa’s call to serve the poor and was completely awestruck by her bravery and deep love. I felt convicted that I wanted my life to look like hers, in love and service, but had no idea how to make that happen. Years later and after many moments of God’s grace, I heard about Christ in the City and was directed to the website. After learning about the mission and coming on an experience visit, I was deeply reminded of my desire to love and serve the poor. Who am I to turn down this profound invitation to love?
What are you looking forward to?
I’m looking forward to the rhythms of prayer and community life, to making new friends, and to growing towards Christ.
A little bit about me…
I grew up in a small town in New Jersey, playing in the woods and cooking with my grandma who lives five minutes away. During the summers, she would take me to daily mass, and we would pray the rosary together every evening. I owe so much of my faith to her! When I was 10, I went from being an only child to a middle child (my sisters are adopted!) and life became even more fun. I have always loved being outdoors, singing, and reading. In May 2026, I graduated to the University of Notre Dame, where I studied Theology and Classics.
