What Brought Me to Christ in the City:
I went on a Summer of Service about 2 years ago and the idea of doing a year at Christ in the City has always been on my mind. And now that I have graduated from Texas A&M University (Gigem) and am about to go on to nursing school, I want to take a year to grow in service to the poor and through the many challenges I know that Christ in the City will throw at me!
What am I looking forward to:
Over the brief time I have spent at Christ in the City I love the streets and encountering people. I am also looking forward to the community and just spending a year to focus on my own growth before working full time.
A little bit about me:
I am the second oldest of 3 sisters and one youngest brother. I like to read, I can play the piano and guitar and am learning the banjo. I love the water, especially the ocean and a dream of mine is to sail.
