I’m a 2nd year missionary from Long Beach, CA.
What brought you to Christ in the City?
I first came to Christ in the City for a week back in March 2024 for a mission trip. It was here that my heart fell in love with serving the poor in an intimate and personal way – by offering the gift of myself through Christ. I was prompted to a Summer of Service with CIC from the desire to deeper belong with the Lord. For this Year of Service, God has called me to follow Him more closely and totally in His invitation to live radically and simply amongst the poor.
How has Christ in the City helped you grow?
Christ in the City has transformed me in and by love! From our ministry and community, I have grown to embrace the invitation Christ gives us of the cross. To live in the midst of suffering and to rejoice in hope. I am looking forward to deepening in intimacy with God and to spreading joy by my witness to the Lord.

I am from Long Beach, CA and a graduate of Cal State University of Long Beach studying to be a secondary English teacher. I love the outdoors and to read, especially under a tree!
