What brought you to Christ in the City?
I was brought to Christ in the City by recent movements of my heart to take ministering to the poor and the outcasted more seriously. Recent events in my personal life, as well as the content of “Dilexi Te” left a strong impression on me: That caring for the homeless in a deeply personal and loving way is a grave need that our society often sweeps under the rug. I also desire a greater level of intimacy with Christ, and I believe that CITC would help me grow in my relationship with him immensely.
What are you looking forward to?
I am looking forward to being a part of the community and communal prayer. For the small time I visited this summer, I thought you all had a beautiful and rich culture! I am also looking forward to growing in my compassion, and understanding of other people, particularly the lonely and lost.
A little bit about me…
I enjoy creative arts. I write music occasionally, and I am aspiring to write a fantasy fiction book. My heart is thrilled by nature’s beauty, and I like playing games with friends.
