What brought you to Christ in the City?
Ever since I spent the summer of 2024 with Christ in the City, the mission has not left my mind and heart. I am overjoyed that I get to love Christ’s poor and be among brothers and sisters in Philadelphia.
What are you looking forward to?
I am looking forward t0 encountering our Lord in the poor and coming to understand freedom and surrender more deeply. The simplicity of life of a Christ in the City missionary is a beautiful thing. And I hope to love & be loved in return, whether on the streets, in community, and by the Father.
A little bit about me…
I love sunrises, handwritten letters, a good cup of coffee (or two, or three), spontaneous adventures, and baking. Even more, I love spending time with the people dear to me. I grew up as a middle child of three, raised by wonderful parents. For the past few years I have studied sociology at the University of Dayton, where I learned much in and outside of the classroom. Christ keeps drawing me close and I am joyous to love Him with everything in me!
