Homeless Contribution Tax Credit (HCTC) – 25% Back on Your Gift

Colorado taxpayers who give $100 or more to approved homelessness projects can receive a 25% state income tax credit. Christ in the City’s Denver Street Outreach is an eligible project, and both single and cumulative gifts of $100+ by year-end qualify.

How It Works

  • Give $100 or more (gifts can be combined throughout the year)
  • Receive a 25% Colorado state income tax credit
  • Support Christ in the City’s street outreach — and make your gift go further

What You Need to Know

  • Your HCTC certificate requires the last 4 digits of your SSN (entered securely by our staff; never shared online).
  • Certificates are issued by the Colorado Department of Local Affairs (DOLA) via encrypted email or mail.
  • A Colorado tax ID cannot be used in place of an SSN.
