I’m a 2nd year Christ in the City missionary from Fayetteville, WV.

What brought me to Christ in the City
After five years in college, the words that kept arising in my prayer were change and service. Christ in the City is the perfect combination of these two words. It is a great opportunity for me to challenge my comfortability here in Knoxville and to serve others in need.
How has Christ in the City helped you grow?

Christ in the City has been a life-changing experience. Overall, I have learned so much about the human’s capacity for joy and sorrow. Stephanie, one of the other missionaries, and I often talk about how incredible it is that the Lord has allowed us to feel so deeply in such opposite ways. On the streets, we see both extremes, oftentimes in the same conversation. It is such a gift to be able to feel, and I do not think that I will ever take it for granted.

A bit about me
In May of 2021, I finished my Bachelor of Architecture degree at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. I love design, musicals, West Virginia, Tennessee, the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and cheesecake. I cannot wait to move back east to Philadelphia and be a second year missionary for Christ in the City!
