I’m a 1st year missionary from Rantoul, IL.
What brought you to Christ in the City?
What initially brought me to Christ in the City was a desire to do my part and serve our less fortunate and homeless brothers and sisters. I prayed about this and talked to a couple good friends of mine who recommended Christ in the City. I was very inspired by the website, youtube videos, and by their podcast. I thought these portrayed Christ and the City’s mission well and painted a beautiful picture of living the gospel. After much thought and prayer I applied for a summer of service in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. Shortly after living the lifestyle and mission with my fellow missionaries I knew I wanted to continue with this and apply for a year of service. And I couldn’t be happier to be serving this year in Denver Colorado for 2023-2024!
What are you looking forward to?
What I look forward to the most is seeing why God has allowed me to be here and the infinite possibilities there are following his plan for my life. I desire to make great friends in community and on the streets, continue in formation, prayer, and learn more about our Catholic faith. Overall I am excited for each and every opportunity and learning experience that comes my way.
