My name’s Alexander and I’m a 2nd year Christ in the City missionary from Westcliffe, CO.
What brought you to Christ in the City?
Ever since my conversion, I’ve been searching and praying for ways to encounter our Lord in a meaningful way every day, to live the Gospel in an authentic way, and to become a more well-formed Christian. My priest recommended Christ in the City, and after visiting, I discovered this program to be the answer to this prayer.
What are you looking forward to?
I’m so excited to live a truly sacramental life, participating in the Mass every day and spending time with our Lord in the chapel. I’m also looking forward to living in community with fellow young Catholics, strengthening and refining each other into better disciples.
A bit about me
I was born and raised Catholic, and remained so until around the age of fourteen. At that point, I fell away from the faith, became an atheist, and lived life according to the world for the next eight years. After an encounter with Christ at an Easter Vigil Mass, wherein He reminded me of my baptismal promises and called me to repent, I reverted to the Catholic faith and have done my best to live rightly and justly according to Him.
