I’m a 1st-year Christ in the City missionary from Orange County, CA.

What brought me to Christ in the City

My time in college set my heart on fire with the love of God and gave me many opportunities to spread that fire, one of which being a week-long mission trip to Christ in the City. Immersing myself in the mission for a week really opened my eyes to the reality of our human life and the reality that we all desire the same things: to be seen, known, and loved. After visiting CIC, I felt the Lord calling me to continue sharing the graces I’ve received with people who need it most, so I said yes to a year of service!

What I’m looking forward to

The joy! I’m excited to continue seeking joy even in the midst of the struggles, and I can’t wait to see how the Lord works through my encounters with others in the community and on the streets. I’m also really looking forward to furthering my trust in God, knowing that God is always at work and that His plan is going to be beautiful.

A bit about me

I was born and raised in Orange County, California (La Habra, to be exact!), and I am a recent graduate of Carroll College in Helena, Montana. Growing up in California, with mountains and beaches and deserts all around, and moving to Montana, with mountains and lakes and the biggest sky I’ve ever seen, it only makes sense that I love all things outdoors, especially hiking, backpacking, camping, and chasing sunsets! I’m a big fan of iced coffee, dancing in the kitchen, and singing off key with the windows down, and I’m a firm believer that we should live and love like we’re running out of time, because we kind of are. When we live and love like Jesus taught us, we’ll find joy like never before!
