I’m a 1st-year Christ in the City missionary from Soldiers Grove, WI.
When I was considering taking a gap year before attending college, I was faced with a big question; what am I going to do? I thought about taking cross country road trips or going to Africa and serving the poor, but when I head about Christ In the City from my mom, I was immediately hooked. Their message of friendship and sharing Gods love by example spoke to me in such a profound way that I had no option but to apply.
I am looking forward to growing in my faith, and forming real authentic friendships with my fellow missionaries and my friends on the street, and the amount of personal growth I will do throughout the year as a man. I’m also looking forward to the amount of good work God will do through me, and how much I will learn about myself from my experiences at CIC.
I am the middle of nine children; I love the country side and taking random trips to Walmart or McDonald’s with friends. I’m taking a gap year before attending college. I ran cross country and track in high school, and I’ve also been playing piano for eight years. At a party, you’ll find me by the guacamole, I love guacamole.
