Christ in the City interns are immensely valuable in sustaining our ministry. Though we accept applicants year-round, we’re in particular need of interns during the summer break between our Year of Service programs (July-August). Interns gain a comprehensive understanding of non-profit operations, receive opportunities for spiritual growth and personal accompaniment if desired, and experience the joys of living a missionary life.

MARKETING INTERN
Reports To: Marketing/Media Contractor
JOB SUMMARY
Christ in the City is seeking a Marketing Intern to assist in our increasing marketing and media needs.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The responsibilities of the Marketing Intern are to assist the Marketing/Media Contractor in the following areas:
- Website – Restructure site map and content, oversee content management
- Blog – Designate bloggers and allow for subscribers
- Email – Monthly E-newsletters, manage content deadlines and design emails
- Social Media – Facebook, Twitter, Youtube
- Fundraising Campaigns – manage media
- Leading prayer once per week including rosary, stations of the cross, etc.
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Seeking degree in Marketing or Graphic Design
- Experience in graphic design, video editing, and website design is preferred

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The responsibilities of the Social Work intern is to assist the Outreach Coordinator with all Street Ministry objectives. This includes:
- Lunch in the Park preparation
- Researching resources for our friends on the street
- Developing relationships with donors and volunteers

- Tracking in-kind donations
- Running reports on Quickbooks
- Assisting in end of month reports

- Experience with Quickbooks
- Seeking a degree in Accounting or Business
