What brought me to Christ in the City

I talked to a previous missionary about CIC and his experience. It so happened that everything he was talking about were desires that had been on my heart for quite some time. I decided to apply just to see what would happen, went to an interview weekend, and feel in love with the mission and people. The Lord very gently invited me to say “yes” to CIC after my time in Denver and I could not be more excited.

What I’m looking forward to

I am looking forward to having a year where my only job is to love people, both on the streets and in my community. I love how CIC equips you to be a missionary for the rest of your life and I cannot wait to grow this year. In short, I am most looking forward to the unique way I will get to love people and be loved by them.

A bit about me

While I spent 4 years in North Dakota at the University of Mary, I am a Montana girl at heart. I have a great love for the outdoors, being in the mountains, music, and the uniqueness of each person. I recently graduated with a degree in Social Work and hope to use the degree to help others and bring out the goodness and beauty we all possess. I am a big people person and cannot wait to be a part of the CIC family.

everyone deserves
to be known & loved

If you join me in the mission as a monthly supporter, you will also become part of Known & Loved, Christ in the City’s monthly giving community! We are so grateful for our monthly supporters and their consistent generosity which makes it possible for us missionaries to be formed and reach out the homeless all year-long.
