My name’s Brad and I’m a 1st-year Christ in the City missionary from St. Louis, Missouri.

What brought me to Christ in the City

I heard about Christ in the CIty from the FOCUS missionaries at my campus at KU, and I was drawn to the authenticity of the mission and the missionaries. I had an interview with two of the Year of Service missionaries last year and they were very authentic and it was a fantastic conversation about our own lives and how they have been impacted by the mission of Christ in the City. I couldn’t help but want to be a part of it!

What I am looking forward to

I’m looking forward to being stretched and learning how to surrender more to the Lord throughout a year of service. I have already experienced this through my summer of service, but I am excited to see the ways that Jesus will provide during an entire year of service. I have grown so much toward the man that I hope to become, and I am excited to continue this journey with God this year. I am also excited to see the homeless that I made friendships with this past summer!

A bit about me

I am from St. Louis, Missouri, and I come from a very close family of my parents, one brother and one sister. I have completed two years of studies at the University of Kansas (ROCK CHALK). I am studying Business Management and Psychology, and I plan to return to KU after my year of service. In my free time, I enjoy playing basketball, baseball, or any other sport. I also enjoy playing guitar. I am a very outgoing guy and spend most of my free time hanging out with friends.
