My name’s Amanda and I’m a 1st-year Christ in the City missionary from Broomfield, CO.

What brought me to Christ in the City

I knew I wanted to become a Christ in the City missionary because I wanted to be challenged to love more radically and fully. The mission of Christ in the City aligns closely with my own personal mission, so I knew that this was how God was calling me to serve.

What I’m looking forward to

I am most looking forward to all of the ‘unknowns’ of being a missionary. While I do know general aspects of what the year will entail, I am excited for all of the grace-filled moments that I could never plan for!

A bit about me

I recently graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder with a degree in Integrative Physiology and am happy to be staying close by this next year because I don’t know what I would do without the Rockies! I enjoy exploring the mountains that we are blessed with here in Colorado, spending time in the kitchen trying new recipes, and spending time with Jesus. I love to laugh and will always dance if there’s music on. I am thrilled to see what God has in store for me and the CIC community this next year!

SUPPORT amanda

everyone deserves
to be known & loved

If you join me in the mission as a monthly supporter, you will also become part of Known & Loved, Christ in the City’s monthly giving community! We are so grateful for our monthly supporters and their consistent generosity which makes it possible for us missionaries to be formed and reach out the homeless all year-long.

Watch Zach’s testimony below to hear what it means to him to be Known & Loved.
